Three Team Members attend prestigious Summer Residential Governors School for Math, Science and Technology

Congratulations to Josh, Alexi and Riyanka who were selected to attend the 2019 Summer Residential Governor’s School for Math, Science and Technology at Lynchburg University where they spent the summer studying digital circuits, advanced math, cyber security and other STEM topics with 160 gifted youth from across the state.

SeaPerch National Championship – Team Crossfire finished in 11th place overall!

Congratulations to Matthew and Katherine for their outstanding performance at the SeaPerch National Championship held at Georgia Tech. They finished in 11th place overall out of a competitive field of over 100 teams from around the US and Puerto Rico.

Virginia State Championships – Crossfire 4303C wins Excellence Award, Enterprise 4303E wins Amaze Award

NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing

Trip to World Championships

In April, Team 4303C traveled to Louisville Kentucky to compete at the VEX Robotics World Championships. Excellence and Design Award

Congratulations to 4303X who won the Excellence Award and 4303C who won the Design Award and were Tournament Finalists at the Fairfax Regional event on February 7th. Both teams have now qualified and will represent Forest Park at the State Championships on February 19-20! Good luck teams!
