4303C Crossfire win Think Award at VEX Robotics World Championships!

4303C was awarded the Think Award for their outstanding and consistent programming at the VEX Robotics World Championships! They finished 3rd in their division out of 97 teams with a record of 10 wins and 1 loss. Incredible performance!

Class of 2019 was an incredible group of students, 6 of our team members finished in the top 10 of their class, including 2 salutatorians!
This impressive group is off to Johns Hopkins, University of Virginia, Virginia Tech and the University of Washington!

Virginia State Championships – Crossfire 4303C and Aftermath 4303A advanced to Semi-Finals and win coveted spots to World Championships!

Congratulations to Crossfire Team 4303C and Aftermath Team 4303A!

They will represent Forest Park, Prince William County Schools and the State of Virginia at the VEX Robotics World Championships in Kentucky in April!

Also, congratulations to 4303B and 4303X who also advanced to compete at the State Championships! Incredible performances by all teams throughout the season to reach this level of competition!

Team Member attends prestigious Summer Residential Governors School for Math, Science and Technology

Congratulations to Thomas who was selected to attend the 2019 Summer Residential Governor’s School for Math, Science and Technology at Lynchburg University where they spent the summer studying digital circuits, advanced math, cyber security and other STEM topics with 160 gifted youth from across the state.

Six Team Members selected for prestigious Summer Governor’s School for Math, Science and Technology

Congratulations to Chris, Michelle, Katherine, Daniel, Matt and Matthew for their selection to the 2017 Virginia Summer Residential Governor’s School for Math, Science and Technology. Forest Park High School had 7 students selected, the most from any high school in the commonwealth, the average is one student per high school.¬†All have been members of VRC Team 4303C and are exceptional students and leaders at Forest Park!

SeaPerch National Championship – Team Crossfire finished in 11th place overall!

Congratulations to Matthew and Katherine for their outstanding performance at the SeaPerch National Championship held at Georgia Tech. They finished in 11th place overall out of a competitive field of over 100 teams from around the US and Puerto Rico.
